I'm confident that I can design a home you'll be proud of, but if you hire me and you're not completely happy with the work I've done, I won't charge you a dime. You won't be able to use the plan I've created, but you can start over with another designer, without any obligation to me. 

A little about me...

Hello, my name is Mike Mayberry. My wife, Tylin, and I have lived in North Texas since 1992 and have 2 kids and 4 awesome granddaughters. With my extensive graphic design and software development background, I decided to tackle designing my first custom home for my wife and I in 2004. Needless to say, it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, but through the process, I found a real passion for home design and have gone on to design other custom homes for us, as well as hundreds of other plans. 

I personally lean towards classic traditional design characteristics with timeless appeal that never goes out of style. Features like coffered ceilings, white subway tile, wainscoting, ship lap walls, architectural columns, corbels and brackets. Many of these design characteristics can be seen in My Work. 

Why Hire Me?

It comes down to a single word, Creativity. Any designer can draw a plan that you can build from, but very few have the ability to truly create a great plan with the kind of curb appeal that draws people in. Outside of livability, my goal is to always design the best looking house in any neighborhood. One that people stop and say, "Wow, I love that house". Sure,I can draw you a house plan that looks exactly like every other house on the street, but why do that?
